  El alcance de esta encuesta es determinar si existe alguna disposición en las leyes de los países que obligue a registrar con las autoridades locales un acuerdo de licencia de marca por el cual se licencia una marca registrada o solicitada para el registro en dicho país local. En algunos países, el registro de un contrato de licencia es obligatorio para que se considere válido y efectivo entre las partes y / o contra terceros, mientras que en otros es discrecional.
