DESCRIPTION:Este webinar tiene como finalidad educar a nuestros asociados sobre la posibilidad de arbitrar algunos temas de propiedad intelectual e industrial\, ya que existe la creencia bastante generalizada\, de que las disputas relacionadas con estos derechos\, no son susceptibles de ser dirimidas por métodos alternos de resolución de disputas.  Al promover la resolución de disputas mediante la utilización de métodos alternos\, estaremos ofreciendo a nuestros clientes la posibilidad de resolver conflictos con mayor rapidez y con la confidencialidad que estos temas requieren.  Adicionalmente\, los conflictos serían dirimidos por especialistas en el tema\, lo que no siempre es posible por ante los tribunales del orden judicial.

DESCRIPTION:El mercado legal actual está condicionado por circunstancias que obligan a configurar nuevas estrategias internas y externas para poder cumplir las previsiones de desarrollo de negocio. Actualmente\, factores como la sobrecapacidad\, la política de descuentos de la competencia\, la presión en precio que ejercen los clientes y la imposibilidad de seguir disminuyendo costes operativos\, condicionan y establecen unas nuevas reglas del juego para los despachos de abogados. Ante esta situación resulta imprescindible entender bien cuál es el proceso de compra de los clientes -abogados in-house- y cuáles son los condicionantes principales para la toma de decisiones en la compra de servicios jurídicos por parte de los departamentos legales de empresa. \nObjetivos: Analizaremos cómo afectan estos condicionantes y cuáles son las actuales tendencias. DESCRIPTION:La Asociación Interamericana de la Propiedad Intelectual (ASIPI)\, en conjunto con la Asociación Paraguaya de Agentes de la Propiedad Intelectual (APAPI) y la Asociación Internacional para la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (AIPPI) grupo paraguayo\, organizaron en forma conjunta el pasado miércoles 26 de abril una mesa redonda con motivo del Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual 2017 bajo el lema «La innovación mejora la vida». \nEl evento tuvo lugar en la Cámara de Comercio Paraguayo Americana (PAMCHAM) y contó con la participación de 50 personas. Los expositores fueron Matias Noetinger (en representación de la C.D. de ASIPI)\, Cristóbal González (en representación de la AIPPI grupo paraguayo) y como moderadora Lorena Mersan (en representación de la APAPI). \nEntre las autoridades locales que asistieron al evento se encuentran: la Ministra de la Corte Suprema de Justicia del Paraguay\, Gladys Bareiro de Modica; la Directora de la Dirección de los Derechos de la Propiedad Intelectual de la CSJ\, Gabriela Talavera; La Directora de Mediación de la CSJ\, Gladys Alfonso de Bareiro; los agentes fiscales especializados en delitos contra la Propiedad Intelectual\, Diego Zilverbarg y Carmen G. de Cattoni y el Director de Lucha contra la Piratería de la Dirección Nacional de Propiedad Intelectual\, Carlos Kunihiro. \nLa apertura del evento estuvo a cargo de Victor Abente Stewart\, actual presidente de la APAPI. Acto seguido\, Matías Noetinger hizo primeramente una breve reseña sobre ASIPI\, para posteriormente disertar sobre la importancia de la propiedad intelectual en la generación de las innovaciones\, mencionando las trabas y obstáculos legales que hacen al patentamiento de las innovaciones en los diferentes países de la región. A su turno\, Cristóbal González se centró en la innovación en el Paraguay\, mencionando la situación actual y exponiendo algunos ejemplos exitosos. A continuación se tuvo un espacio de 20 minutos para preguntas y respuestas\, donde hubo una gran participación y mucho aporte de los participantes. Para culminar\, la delegada titular por Paraguay\, Raquel Toñánez\, dio las palabras de clausura.
