The purpose of this program is to teach and train entrepreneurs in the region on intellectual property issues, showing them that their ideas can be transformed into a business that generates wealth, as long as they have the right support and advice in this area from the moment of their conception.
Since its inception, we have implemented educational projects that allow a better knowledge and use of Intellectual Property. Being an academic reference in Latin America, we do not limit our efforts strictly to the IP branch, but also touches those spheres of knowledge that are related to it. Our region is rich in labor force, but has the disadvantage of being unaware of the advantages that Intellectual Property can offer to start and prosper any type of business. Contrary to popular opinion, IP is not “only for big business”. While it is true that the most recognized names are backed by expensive trademarks, complex patents and millionaire marketing plans, they all started from the same point: a simple idea. ASIPI EMPRENDE's main goal is to teach and demonstrate this.
