SPORT LAW
In this installment, an approach is made to Sports Law from multiple angles because Intellectual Property, as we have seen so many times in ASIPI, is an issue that goes far beyond the various regulations.
The work highlights research on Ambush Marketing, studies on the use and abuse of the image of athletes and various legal-practical analyzes on Merchandising and Marketing in the sports field. This book has an additional practical virtue and it is that it compiles the main judicial pronouncements that have been produced in Latin America, the United States and Europe on the matter so that the reader understands the various litigation and jurisprudential trends of the moment. It also includes several models of contracts with high-performance athletes that many lawyers can serve as a starting point, as a beginning, in the practice of sports law.
- Analysis of the different rights of industrial property and image with reference to the field of sport. Matías F. Noetinger.
- “Marketing de emboscada. Ambush marketing”. Jorge Otamendi.
- Sponsorship agreements in sport.Alberto Guerra.
- Recycling leftover paint, gold running shoes and offering to fly Sepp Blatter for free: mbush marketing at the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Felipe Claro and Joanna P. van der Henst.
- The conflict of the football team's brands Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara (Mexico). Adriana López González.
- The ambush marketing in the General Law of the Cup (World Soccer Championship Brazil 2014). An international analysis and its application to Paraguayan law.Fabricio Modica Bareiro.
- Message from the battlefield: IP disputes in brazil during the Fifa World Cup. Gustavo Piva de Andrade.
- The Venezuelan League of Professional Baseball (LVBP) and its distinctive signs.Barbarita Guzmán.
- Once upon a time there was the “athlete”: sponsors and athlete’s reification. Lorenzo Litta & Sofia De Simone.
- Unauthorized exploitation of the image of athletes and sports club logos. Natalia Tobón Franco.
- Sports brands, protection and enforcement; are manufacturers and distributors playing by the rules?. Diana Muller.
- Social media in sports: a whole new ball game for athletes and celebrities. Diana Muller
- Judicial Decisions.

DERECHO DEPORTIVO
Ambush marketing”. Jorge Otamendi.
- Acuerdos de patrocinio en el deporte. Alberto Guerra.
- Recycling leftover paint, gold running shoes and offering to fly Sepp Blatter for free: mbush marketing at the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Felipe Claro and Joanna P. van der Henst.
Fabricio Modica Bareiro.
- Message from the battlefield: IP disputes in brazil during the Fifa World Cup.
- Once upon a time there was the “athlete”: sponsors and athlete’s reification. Lorenzo Litta & Sofia De Simone.
- Sports brands, protection and enforcement; are manufacturers and distributors playing by the rules?. Diana Muller.
- Social media in sports: a whole new ball game for athletes and celebrities. Diana Muller
