In fact, most of the time it occurs in banal aspects of our lives. However, situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic have evidenced its practiced in sensitive areas such as health, both in pharmaceuticals and natural products for medicinal use, and artifacts whose purpose is the preservation of life, in which case we have really given the matter the importance it deserves. This work materializes the implementation of a series of mechanisms and laws, such as: a) the Law that Reforms Various Legal Bodies to Reinforce the Prevention and Fight against Illicit Trade, Strengthen the National Industry and Promote Electronic Commerce, b) the National Intellectual Property Policy, and c) binational cooperation models, which aim at strengthening Intellectual Property Rights to reduce infringements in the system and fight against piracy and counterfeiting, and implement preventive and punitive measures in the matter. In this line of ideas, it is concluded that all citizens are jointly responsible for the prevention and eradication of counterfeiting. De hecho, en la mayoría de las ocasiones esta se presenta en aspectos banales de nuestra vida. Sin embargo, situaciones como la pandemia de COVID-19 han evidenciado su practica en áreas sensibles como la de salud, tanto en farmacéuticos y productos naturales de uso medicinal, y artefactos que tienen como finalidad la preservación de la vida, en cuyo caso -realmente- le hemos dado a la materia, la importancia que merece.    Este trabajo materializa la implementación de una serie de mecanismos y leyes, como: a) la Ley que Reforma Diversos Cuerpos Legales para reforzar la Prevención y el Combate al Comercio Ilícito, Fortalecer la Industria Nacional y Fomentar el Comercio Electrónico, b) la Política Nacional de Propiedad Intelectual, y c) modelos de cooperación binacional, que tienen como objetivo el fortalecimiento de los Derechos de Propiedad Intelectual para disminuir las infracciones en el sistema y luchar contra la piratería y falsificación, e implementar medidas preventivas y punitivas en la materia.
