ADVOCACY
Ensure adequate protection of Intellectual Property in Latin American countries.
STUDY
Conduct research and studies to measure the impact of Intellectual Property on social and economic development, that certain policies, legal instruments, and/or piracy may have.
TRAINING
Provide academic training to professionals in the field, public officials, judges and prosecutors, students, entrepreneurs, and young people through the organization of congresses, seminars, webinars, roundtables, courses, and workshops.
PROMOTION
Promote the development and harmonization of laws and procedures related to Intellectual Property in Latin America and its inclusion as public policy.
COLLABORATION
Collaborate with governments and international entities on issues related to Intellectual Property and related areas by submitting proposals for laws, treaties, or study topics to improve international relations among countries in the region.
LIAISON
Encourage relationships with international and local organizations related to IP, as well as with multilateral organizations (WIPO, EUIPO, IDB, World Bank, WTO).

To group and represent professionals dedicated to intellectual property matters, to promote the importance of the profession, as well as the study, dissemination, development, and protection of intellectual property rights in the countries of the American Continent.
