Through the Asipi Probono program, we were able to obtain the registration of the trademark “SUMAKYAKU Aroma a Selva”. This is the first case closed through our program, benefiting the SUMAK YAKU AGROARTESANAL ASSOCIATION “ASOSUMKU”, a community of indigenous entrepreneurs in Ecuador. The case was referred by the Traditional Knowledge Division of the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO.
