Terms and Conditions
-
ASIPI reserves the right to accept or reject the requested Pro Bono case, without expression of cause.
-
If the case is accepted, ASIPI shall designate a member of its Association (the “Pro Bono Associate”), who shall be responsible for providing the professional services required by the client (hereinafter “Pro Bono Client”), free of charge.
-
The Pro Bono Client is responsible for covering all official fees and incidental costs arising in the process of providing the service, as well as routine expenses for authentication of documents, license forms, filing of documents, judicial or administrative applications or complaints, notary or secretarial fees, translations, technical reports, international or long distance calls, document shipments and travel expenses (when applicable).
-
For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, prior to commencing the provision of the service, the Pro Bono Partner shall provide the Pro Bono Client with a quotation including the estimated expenses (as mentioned in the preceding paragraph) and the approximate dates on which they are to be paid by the Pro Bono Client. The Pro Bono Client must accept such estimate in order to be able to start providing the services. This does not imply that different or higher costs cannot be generated, which the Pro Bono Partner shall also inform the Pro Bono Client in advance for its due approval.
-
The Pro Bono Client understands that in a legal proceeding of any nature the final outcome is uncertain and therefore accepts that, even in those cases with a good chance of success, there is a possibility that the outcome will not be the desired one.
-
The Pro Bono Client agrees to sign all the documents required by ASIPI prior to, during and after receiving the corresponding Pro Bono service, among them, the Service Agreement and the Termination Letter.
